My name is Faith Clay. I’m a Medina county parent of three students, all with very different abilities and disabilities. I have one typical student, one gifted (accelerated course,) student, and one twice exceptional student. My 2E student is gifted and also diagnosed ADHD, with executive function deficits, and Dysgraphia. My reason for participating in OPEN-Bees was originally to find support for my own child. Today, my reason is to give back to an organization who helped our family attain specifically designed instruction tailored to our 2E student that, he may otherwise, never have received. My goal would be to use our family’s  experience to reach families of students who do not have the financial resources and/or knowledge to help twice exceptional children attain the services or support they deserve.
