My name is Jaclyn Burdette, and I am a mother of 3 children in Medina County. I am also a certified Parent Advocate. Two of my children have a comorbidity of different learning differences and all 3 have dyslexia. My reason for joining Open-Bees 4 years ago was to receive support and guidance through a very combative road to receiving appropriate accommodations for my children. Open-Bees has gifted me the opportunity to give back all of the knowledge, and guidance I received to parents who are just like myself. It is an extremely long road for some, and I now have the tools to help not only my own family, but others as well. Guiding parents through similar situations as my own, has become a passion of mine. Every child has a right to read.
